What are the main differences between Senate and the house of representatives in the USA? I understand that they have each exclusive powers, but what are those and how they work?

What´s the difference between Senate and H.R?

There are many but the basic idea behind it is that the Rep's (House) are exactly that, they represent areas within their states, and Senators represent the entire state. This was done, to ensure that "all" people would be represented in Congress. These are some differences that I also found:
