Albert March se impuso ayer con suficiencia en el Trofeu Festes de Sant Sebastià de pesca submarina, primera prueba del Campeonato de Mallorca de 2011. El campeón del mundo sumó un total de 26.223 puntos tras el pesaje realizado en la tarde de ayer en la Escuela de Vela de Calanova, en donde el ganador fue quien más piezas presentó (27).
Miguel Galiana, con un ´espet´ de 1.490 gramos de peso, fue el deportista que presentó la pieza mayor, mientras que David Carrillo, que fue segundo tras el pesaje al totalizar 15.643 puntos, fue quien más especies capturó, con un total de diez. Completó el podio Javier López con 14.120 puntos.
En cuarta posición se clasificó Guillem Miralles (12.145 puntos). Quinto fue Pedro Carbonell, con 10.265 puntos, en un torneo en el que participaron cerca de cuarenta deportistas.
La próxima cita de la pesca submarina será el sábado 22, con la disputa del Máster Ciutat de Palma, en el que participarán los quince mejores pescadores del mundo –con Albert March y Pedro Carbonell a la cabeza– y cinco de las mejores selecciones.

El Trofeu Festes de Sant Sebastià cambiará de nombre. A partir del año que viene se denominará Memorial Sebastià Carbonell, en recuerdo del campeón de Europa y del Mundo por equipos, fallecido la pasada semana.
