My friend grabbed a boulder

  • Dove at night sunday night with a couple SD Freedivers. It was myself Butch, Justin, Roman, and David. Not sure where we dove cause the fog was so thick. Butch happened to grab a rock and look what he got out of it. We congratulated him on his rock but were not sure about the size limits on rocks.

  • I took out my new hole gun and shot one sculpin and the shaft strung the fish and wedged it self too far back in the cave and I could not reach it or see it or pull it out. I did manage to get one other sculpin with the knife though and a few other things.

  • Even though I'm hitting the Halloween candy bowl, my mouth is watering over those rocks.:thumbsup2:

    Cheers, Don

  • sweet, did you get out today?

I did and I found out that it is hard to grab 18" cabs with your hands. text me for intel. BTW the place I went had lots of bugs but all short. I found one but could not reach it.

Will do, my dive buddies have been doing well with the cabs but I haven't seen any over 14". The only ones I have hand grabbed are either short or sculpin... the latter tend to hurt.

I would think they hurt lol. I got one of those sculpin with a knife but I lost my knife and have not time to go get another so I dove without a knife today cause I did not want to use the CP defender knife Micheal Dong made for me. These cabs were toads for sure. It was like trying to hold the explosion of dynamite in my hands.
