My name's Marian and I'm new to spearfishing / freediving. I first gained interest last summer when I was on an internship around Japan, and have since spearfished / dove in Monterey and Saipan with friends who are far more capable than me, lol. (perks of having to travel for school 
)
Now that I'm home in Long Beach, and before I head back up to NorCal for schoo,l I'd like keep diving, especially since I've heard how great some of the spots are down here. I figured this forum would be a great place to meet other people and to continue learning the nuances of spearo culture from people who've had far more experience.
