This is my kennel pad... it is approx. 10'x20' and I forget how thick . The guy who built it couldn't have picked a better location but the concrete work is pathetic. Falling part, brittle, just terrible ...

No, through the concrete, not under. There should at least be 2x2 wire mesh throughout the slab. I ask what's under because it looks like it's sinking and heaving. Also, something that large in an exterior should have atleast one control joint down the center. Is there irrigation anywhere near it? Water, etc...

Closest water would be my lateral lines .... and they run just on the far side of it. And you're right .... I didn't even think about the moron not putting in an expansion joint or two . Crap.
If what is underneath it is in good shape(no excessive moisture either) compress it, form it(4") and pour it. Put 2x2 wire in it and a control down the center. You'll need about 2 1/2- 3 yards of concrete. You could do it yourself.

I agree. Tear it out. You could form that thing and pour it yourself. Find out what 3 yrds will cost you and go to your local BAC and hire 1 or 2 concrete finishers for a 2 hrs or so. Can't be that much $$$$ at all. You could probably hire the same guys to form it for you if you don't want to.
Remeber the wire and control joint.
