Here is a link to another simple loader. Text is in Italian but you can see a image of the loader - rope having knots:

Video of using it in water:

Hey guys I was given a Cressi 100 Pneumatic and I am not able to fully load it in the water. On land I can load it but it is pretty difficult. Does anyone make an easy loader anymore or do you guys know where I can get one?
Thanks.
Maybe you could make it yourself? I did it myself using hand tools only...
Here is how it looks like.http://spearfishing.world/spea…atic-gun-easy-loader.html

Maybe there was already somewhere similar image, but here is how could be the shaft loaded in water, with Tomba kit. Shaft should be filed on one side to be as on image, to allow water to pass under the O-ring while being inserted in muzzle.
Shaft should be inserted into the muzzle together with cone ring, O-ring and the slider. After that holding the slider in muzzle, preventing it from moving forward during pushing in the shaft, shaft should be pushed in to make contact with piston. From that moment loading can be proceeded as usual. -

I have done some clean up...
New Tomba models and names:Tomba700S:
The most Simple. Could be used only with Tomba slider. Might lose vacuum if during loading move the shaft backward.
Tomba700E: Could be used with any plastic slider.
Tomba700X: Only for shafts 6,5 to 7 mm, using only Tomba slider.
TombaF700E: "Free shaft" Tomba -

What is the mono dia? The only thing I would be concerned with is the knot necking down
under heavy load and cutting it self. This could be tested with a spring scale and pull to failure. My kit is still holding up well.:thumbsup2:
Cheers, Don
Yes, I agree with you Don! Mono on image is 1 mm. Could be up to 1.5 mm. I am glad your kit is still working.

Back to very early Tomba on first picture, here is a newer possible design:

Pete, from your last sketch we can see two important facts regarding inverted roller:
1. Moving of the shaft is in opposite direction from moving the bands. Result is much lower recoil, almost no recoil at all so the gun could be very precise.
2. Speed of bands is 1/2 of shaft speed. That means lower frictional and drag losses of bands in water.Bands usually have starting tension pretty high so shaft is being accelerated with high force all the time (similar to pneumatic guns).

Some more - Invert roller, designed and invented by Stefano Soriano:
This on the picture is Invert roller with some extra mods, by Croatian Ante Perica. Very powerful gun!
