those ribs are insane, the are very stable and they turn on a dime! I used to have one in Puerto rico, and I loved it. It really passed the test. I used it around the beach for 10 minutes without spilling my drink, I'm telling you... those cat style ribs are very stable!!!:thumbsup2:

hey judah, it's all a matter of opinion. Which company builds the better car? there is no true answer (at least, this is MY PERSONAL OPINION!!)

But to be honest and truthful, in PR I only used a wooden gun. Here in Miami after many many many years of being in dry land, I started again and went to what I knew and used which was a biller 36.
I got tired of that gun and traded up really quick. Now, I have the 90cm mako and the 140cm mako.

I love those 2 animals!!! they are easy to carry and easy to move. The kickback/recoil on both are more than the biller. Everytime I load them it reminds me of HAU. I hate loading them!!! HAU, you need to teach me your trick man.

To me, wooden guns have somewhat advantage over rail guns, but after playing with these 2 guns, I stay with the rail guns!!!

    Good luck Judah

    I forgot how to swim!!!!:thumbsup2:

dude, I've been on feeding duty and baby patrol for the last couple of weeks. I only take my guns out of the bag just to dust them off! Since the baby was born I don't know what the definition of sleep is! and I've been helping my wife around the house since it's been a nightmare for her the recuperation after the birth. Dr. said that it will take her at least "3 months" to be back to normal but she is doing fine now and it seems that the water at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and closer, I can almost feel it splashing me on my face!!!

I just been trying to stay away from drugs and bad habbits like this site:0 since I am so weak and temptation comes in many different shapes, sizes and avatars!!! But to be honest, I missed y'all!

I just see this posting going in the same direction as the thread for Pargos brand name!! btw, how's that coming along!

thank you so much guys! Baby and mom are doing great! he's a big boy, michelin boy/pillsburry dough boy mix!! I intent on enjoying him to the fullest, this is my first one and I am in love with this little man!!!

I already called a friend of mine and special ordered a bottle of Fonseca Port Wine vintage 2009. The bottle will be available in 3 to 5 years from now. This will be a vintage bottle will be a gift for him to be opened for his 18th birthday. I think that this is something very special and extremely cool for a kid. I also bought him this months Playboy sealed in the bag for his 18th birthday as well!

Just thinking very far ahead! :thumbsup2:

thanks for all the great wishes guys. Thank you all!

I just want to share that the little spearo was just born today saturday july 25, 2009. Weighing @ 8.11 lbs and 20" and I have to admit... for his first bath, he LOVED THE WATER!!!!!! :toast:

I guess I'll have to call Dano @ Mako and find out if he can make me a custom mini spear gun for JIAN FRANCO!! :thumbsup2:

If they took her down to Bayfront park in Homestead, they where probably at the sand bar in Elliot Key which is part of the Biscayne National Park.Haulover is not part of the park.

well, I need to start practicing and learning cause I just got a Mako Iconic Pro Railgun 140 cm. Let's see if I can handle that beast or I'll have to down grade!

Anthony, how do you like your gun so far?

Hey guys, finally after 5 months of being out and away from the water I was able to go out!! Since I couldn't go out to Dania with my kayak because of time (had a family dinner and had to be ready by 4pm) I went out with iriespearo, ballenita, chicho and bobhoward13. We left Crandon Park marina at 7:30am in ballenitas boat.

It was an amazing day, current a little strong, and viz was amazing. First dive was about 45' deep about 3 miles east of Key Biscayne. No fish and lost my camera

The second dive we went about 5 miles east of Key Biscayne and shot and missed a grouper and a hog. On our 3rd stop, I shot and killed a huge hog and I lost my shaft, never to be found! Ended using Iriespearos spare gun, shot a 16" mangrove and shot what looked like a 28"-30" mangrove. The spear didn't go through and spinned so much that the freakin fish took off with the tip inside of him. so somewhere out there is a very nice mangrove with a combat injury!

in a nice and pg rated way of putting it, I had a weird day of spearing.
Next weekend I have work training and this gives me time to get a new shaft or to get a new gun!!

But one thing is for sure.... It felt amazing being back in the water for some spearing action! I had a great time with you guys. Thank you so much for everything.

And a Happy fathers day to all you dads out there!

thanks to all the translators! I need to get me the video tapes for sigui me english learning!

For those of you that don't know what "sigui me" is. Raymond Arrieta, a puerto rican comedian, had a skid called sigui me, a knock off from the popular video to learn english called follow me!

there you go! Dry wall! sea la madre!! thanks for the word!

The reason why I couldn't use the rivets was 1) because of the size. m6 bolts. and 2) because this is the mounting ball for the motor, this will swivel and turn and this is where all the force/stress will be and honestly I trust rivets up to a certain point and pressure.

the nuts and bolts is also a good idea and for my honest opinion, a better one. But since I am testing the unit and writing a review, I only want to use what they provided me to see how good or bad this system is.

once I am done with the review, I think I will be removing the anchors and adding an aluminum backing plate with some acorn nuts.
