Anybody willing to take my wife and I out to spearfish and lobster.
Or can anyone recommend a private charter that won’t beta me up too bad? I was quoted $700 for four hours.
I’m looking to go out on Saturday morning.

I was inside of Florida Freedivers two weeks ago and instantly felt the difference. You could tell the store was under new ownership as a bunch of inexperienced kids were working there. I was approached by a young teenage female employee who asked if I needed help. I told her I was there to look for float line. She replied “remind me what that’s for again.” This was not the experience when Mike and his wife ran the store. Mike or his wife would have shown me every option of float line and given me their experience with the pros and cons of each etc. It was always a 1+ hour trip for me that I’d look forward to making from time to time. I just won’t be going as it’s no longer worth it.
Good Morning Everyone, I'm heading to Key West this weekend and I'd like to do some spearing and lobstering. Do any of you have any local dive charters or know of anyone that we could hire to take my family out to a reef?
Thanks.
I just noticed it on the video. I remember you signaling that there were lobster but didn’t realize I had it on video
Thank you Alan. I look forward to diving with you and many others as well. If you’re the same Alan of the past I think I’ve heard a lot about you. My usual dive buddies of the past were Dan, Frank Gibson, Sergio Pantoja, Davie aka seaweed, and a few others. I’m now out of shape but hope to start getting back to it as yesterday’s experience made me realize I’ve been missing out on a lot. I also look forward to getting my kids out on the water as well.
For those not in on the joke, we had a random guy “Dr. Abe Farr” give us a random block of cheese. It was most likely an attempt for an exchange for lobster. He’s out one block of cheese and has no lobster to show for it.
Frank you should really start exploring starting a site to sell some of your pictures especially now that you have a new camera. You have a keen eye.
Well done Steven!!
Very nice! I remember one time in Miami Beach I had some idiot tourist tell me "you're wasting your time, there's nothing out there" and I came back with a nice red grouper. There's nice fish almost everywhere and it's better when they show up when you least expect them.
Nice catch Gerald
Looks great Frank!
I love the sea world version! The deal is by far the funniest part of that video how it was flopping side to side
Thank you guys!
Thanks guys!
Slingador, I love that picture!
All has been sold except for the scuba equipment but I decided not to sell it
Do you still have the paperwork on the proton reg being serviced? How old is it? any LP hose or Pressure gauge?
Andrew, it does also have the pressure gauge with it
Sorry for the late reply. Suit is a medium and I'll try to get an update on the date of the service on the regulator (I'm kind of leaning away from selling it though) It was within the last year. I serviced it in Delray Beach.
I'll also take trades for rare/collectible coins.
Float line sold as well
Riffe sold
