Well if you want to be assured whether I'm banned or not, I suggest you contact whoever that is. If you're not going to the trouble, then you may want to use common sense, something along these lines.. Would "banned" really be a word used by an event owner to describe the business decision of who to rent space to or not? Would the event owner make this decision publicly known? Especially before the person in question ever expressed interest in renting said space? :dumb:

Thanks, I'll write them and investigate. I hate black lists.

:laughing3: I've heard this nonsense before. For someone with so many questions Dustan, you sure don't seem to question your information. Last I know Sheri Daye strongly disassociated herself from grogan when questioned about the relationship between Blue Wild and spearboard, and was happy to provide me with a price list. I don't know if I'll exhibit in the Blue Wild in the future, but as a visitor it's not interesting to me.

As to the rest it's all here and self explanatory, click through some threads.

You see, who the heck knows what is going on? All I know is , a few months ago a diver told me you where banned from Blue Wild. I don't hear of to many trade shows banning the industry members. So that is not true?

In this case it was just a member venting his frustration over censorship. Another time it may be something more important. If you don't know all the background information and/or don't care, simply don't go there.

I still don't know all the background information. All I know is I mentioned "SPEARDIVER" and "PURSUIT" in a thread on SB. My posts where deleted, and I was issued infractions by Tony and I had no idea WHAT THE HECK TO MAKE OF IT ALL:confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1::confused1:. Since then I have been threatened to be deleted, my Avatar, Signature line, and tag line have been removed and issued infractions for commercial activity. All under the official rules of Spearboard. That's how Tony wants it. His choice.

Dan, its a lot of work to understand the background and your fueds with Tony and others in the industry. Maybe you can make a brief list of all the feuds and company's you have problems with so these topics stop coming up and we can let it rest and go shoot fish.

    1. Why is Tony and Spearboard bad for spearfishing and what the heck did Tony do to you so make you angry enough to make cartoons out of his photos?
    2. Why are you banned from Blue Wild?
    3. What did Mako Spearguns do to become an enemy?
    4. Why was Brian Jones of Salvimar USA not allowed to comment here on your forum?
    5. Why was Josh from Neptonics post deleted here on this forum?

I think clearing the air of all these feuds will put a lot of these posts to rest.

I was at Xel-Há Park | Cancun activities snorkeling on my honeymoon. A Cuda' as big as they come came swimming by in waist deep water weaving through 3 dozen children and tourists wading in the water. I was just standing there putting my mask on and this dark figure cruises by 2 feet away from my legs and no one in he water saw it even once. Amazing a creature that large could slide right on my without bumping a single splashing tourist.

Batch to batch rubber is going to have variance. No one know more about this than Don.
I just tied up some 5/8" Primeline rubber at 300% elongation on a short gun and I could not load it. Not because I could not pull any harder. But it just felt like it was done stretching. It was pulled as far as it wanted to go. Kind of like using a torque wrench, sometimes the feel of the bolt being stretched gives a better result than a torque wrench. I only needed a 1/4" longer wishbone, but on a short band, a 1/4" is a long ways.

You are not the first to comment about the difference. I prefer the AR angle. Especially with the houge rubber grip. All I shoot is mid-handles, perhaps that is why. Ford/Chevy humans are incredibly adaptive to poor ergonomics.

    Old thread I know......
Dan, did you ever get these wet and kick them around in the sea? Or did you stop testing after freaking out because there have a slot in the middle? I read through all this thread for the first time today, but still do not understand the big deal with cutting the slot in the blade. Lots of folks have told me verbally how much they enjoy the fit and feel of these. People have used them with Dive R's, Carbono GFT's, Makos and various other blades without issue.

They look well done, it would have been great to get an update after you swam with them for a few weeks.

Sigalsub rubber is THE SAME as speardiver. I know it first hand from a Sigal Sales Representative who told me where they get the bands from.

And i know that is the same (american) manufacturer.

I have never heard of Sigalsub. What products do you enjoy from them?
