I was really surprised how easily it went on, believe it or not, i didn't have to stretch it much at all, this suit once lubed slid right on. now just waiting for the right conditions to test it.

The Good-
Been wanting to try diving in a open cell wet suit for some time now, problem was, I couldn't find one that would fit based on my rather awkward dimensions (I am a pudgy son-of-a-b1tch). Found the Pursuit wet suit and really liked the Camo pattern and made contact with Dan with questions about the sizing: i was worried about it not fitting me. Dan offered a full refund if it did not fit me so i took the chance, placed the order and it arrived in 3 days. The Bad-
Tracking the package, I was expecting it to arrive today. The wife called me at work and let me know it was delivered and i was really excited to come home and try it on. When i got home, opened the box and removed its contents i was immediately disappointed cause when i put it next to me i could tell that this was no way in hell gonna fit me. I was bummed, and really thought that i finally found "The one"The Ugly-
Through the let down i decided to give it a shot and squeeze into this thing, Dan pretty much convinced me that this was the right size for me so i mixed up some conditioner, put some in a spray pump and juiced myself up then poured the rest in the suit. To my surprise this thing slid right on without a problem...WOOOHOO! this is it! finally. this thing felt so damn comfy i was impressed. I jumped out of the fitting room (My Shower) and took a look in the mirror to find the Ugliest, Funniest looking butterball diver i've ever seen but, this thing was comfy as hell so i didn't even care. All in all, I am stoked to finally have an open cell suit.I gotta say Dan really knows his stuff, thanks Dan or your patience.

cool, bout to order suit but site was still showing "pursuit"

Step in a few foot pockets if you can. Personal choice and foot shapes vary.
Btw- its no longer pursuit, it's speardiver now
does this branding also apply to the wetsuits?

looks like 10-15ft surf tomorrow, i was really hoping to go out this weekend

spea - I am the opposite of you as I am tall and lanky...the xxl is my suit and it fits like a custom...the legs end about two inches above my ankle...this is the area where if we were switched, it would affect you. Since you are in cold water, the extra length will ensure you are covered all the way....here in our toasty waters, even when it is 3mm time, my feet and ankle will never get too cold to dive.
the flexibilty and quality of the suits will over come and subtle sizing differences between divers.
This kinda worries me that it fits you so well being "lanky", i'd really hate to stretch its width to the limits.

Is there a sizing chart with more detailed dimensions? Other wetsuit sizing charts i've seen also show chest and waist measurements.
Sorry for the odd question but i'd like to buy a pursuit suit and there doesn't seem to be any sizing charts showing measurements other than Height and Weight so this doesn't aid in my decision. I am 245lbs. but certainly not 6' tall which by the sizing chart says i should be based on my weight, at least if want the suit to fit correctly. I am 5'11" (Butterball). If i went with a XXL, would the extra overlap maybe around the knees be a bad idea?
Are there any shorter, stout divers here diving Pursuits? please advise, thanks.

Nice work! what'd you stick em with?

thanks for the warm welcome fellas.
Sockeye, i will take a look, thanks.
Hookinfish, I grew up in Waimanalo on Oahu (Homestead specifically), i speared everywhere in the vicinity. I miss the Clarity of the island waters as it is something we are not privied to here.

My name is Lang, dove for years in Hawaii taking shallow water fish by sling. Been diving San Diego for the last few years (Still by sling) and now looking forward to taking one of the larger species by gun. Had the opportunity to dive with quite a few on Spearboard and looking forward to finding new dive buddies here as well.
