In Maui I get skunked often. I however am also picky about what I shoot. Plenty of fosh that people out here consider good the rest of the world views as junk. Guess I am more like the rest of the world. Definitely have had better success rate lately with choosing better spots and improved hunting technique.

I live and fish in Maui and the situation is similar with reef conditions and fish wariness. Here you cannot, I repeat cannot chase fish. You make a move toward them and they split. The only exception is when you get uku to feed on chum. The you can approach and shoot. Just be super efficient about it. Out here flashers ( both throw and stickers on your find help). Another thing is when you see uku chopping up a nice fish helps. Also we have small mackerel called lai. Super silver skin Even jar hanging on your belt kui seems to attract predatory fish. I need to sart using them like a throw flasher and see how that works. Throwing sand helps. Grunting sometimes works for me but it definitely is a learned art and I need to improve my practice of it. Hiding in caves, tucking yourself by rocks and being as quiet as can are all super important. And of course keeping your gun tucked close by your side as possible at all times. Hope this is a small help

"They are 2 circular 16mm rubbers and 2 pieces of 20 mm, in proportion to the length of a single standard rubber 30 mm more long.Have always the same resolution than a roller or roller inverter or better"

What do you mean by resolution? Do you mean result?

    Thanks. Idea is interesting

I unfortunately don't yet speak (or read) Spanish so why did you go away from the y-wishbones out of spectra and to the metal ones? I assume the metal for some reason works better but it seems like it would lose efficiency pulling that weight through the water. And why not just jion two bands at the wish bone at the end? Is their some advantage to the mixing styles of rubber? Sorry if these questions have already been addressed. Thanks for posting such interesting stuff!

I have tried the hoggies but the one I got was the grey oceanic trigger. Didn't taste near as good as in
Carribean. Looked the same but I guess like they say may not even be same fish.

Been dying to get a scorpion fish. Haven't spotted one yet. Probably looked past a dozen already in holes just haven't trained my eye to see them I guess. Soon!

So funny people don't like aku. You can drive down the road and see it advertised for sale. Some people out here buy it over ahi.

Crazy how people avoid jacks to. The ones out here taste great.

We were talking about this the other day regarding trigger fish. In the Carribean they are hunted and taste great. Out here in a Hawaii nobody I know shoots them. I got one and tried it out here. It was alright but didn't seem to be any where near as good as the ones I ate in the Carribean. Anybody else have similar expierences?

"If anyone has two comparable railguns, one standard and one roller maybe it will happen sooner"

I will gladly ship him my 110 super venom for testing if greekdiver ships me out a abellan Denton to use in the meantime

I don't mean any disrespect but-

"South Florida is getting closer to Hawaii"

Have you ever dove in Hawaii? And if you did, have you killed fish?

And what takes a lot of range to shoot on the reef? Everything decent unless you exceptionally lucky that day. Don't let videos fool you. That's a lot of watertime before that opportunity came around.
