Cool video, vis was bad by our standards but it gets like that sometimes this time of the year around that area. Another friend of mine was fishing Vieques that same day and told me thas vis was bad and he was fishing from a boat. So maybe next time.....:)

Yeah, right! :rolleyes1:
No hay problema con que pruebes el Aimrite. Solo dime cuándo lo quieres y nos ponemos de acuerdo.
El handle ese que dices, es el nuevo? Ellos lo estaban cambiando sin costo alguno.
PM sent.

Lo tendría que probar. Me lo prestarías para usarlo un día? Si me gusta te cambio el Aimrite pelo a pelo.
Le cambiaste la culata?
I think all the coated shafts are made by the same people in China, but they're good and cheap!
No hay problema en prestartelo para que lo pruebes, pero yo tendria que probar el aimrite tambien a ver si me gusta antes de hacer el cambio:D. Tiene el handle xen trophy.
Pelaj claims that their shafts are south african made and coated by Toyota.

You still have that thing alive???

It's a black jack (caranx lugubris). Here in Puerto Rico sometimes they carry ciguatera.

Psycho, I have a 130 CF Aimrite Venom I could trade. Which 150 is yours?
Dan: I use 7 mm x 170 cm, my friends use 7.5 mm x 180 cm. Notched for me, pinned for them.
I'm looking to pay less than 40$ for the shafts. I found them in the past but Jim Doe went out of business.
Marco, it's a pelaj kanji in real good condition. Si te interesa hablamos ya que no lo uso casi nada.

Make sure you use the right crimp for the mono you're using, also do not crimp the sleeve too close to the edge because it will cut thru the mono, leave the edge of the crimp flared. I use the long figure eight sleeve and put three crimps on it starting at the center and then one on each side of it staying away from the edge, use the right crimping tool and burn the edge of the mono into a little ball to resist slipping. It's hard to tell what happen to you without a picture of the end of your shooting line where it broke/slip???

Ok! :thumbsup2:

I would like a 190cm euro with a rest tab, don't care if is stainless or coated 7 or 8mm but it must have a rest tab or pin or I will cut down my 150 to a smaller size. Finding shafts for it is a pain. Any suggestions?

That's a real nice looking gun, very elegant.
-
I have seen them 1.25'' height and 1.75'' width with no problems on a 55'' barrel with 2- 5/8'' bands.
Dan has built a couple of thin guns, you should ask him or try and find the dimensions on his threads.
I just remembered, I did one 1.125'' wide (that's one inch and one eight) by 1.75'' tall. Also 2-5/8 bands. -
Nice pneumatic, that handle looks a long way from the back of the gun. Doesn't it feel akward holding or shooting it?
BTW there's one on ebay right now. Item # 350 446 522 322 in case someone is interested.

Good mechs.....I'm already working with a Reverse euro mech.
Gonna be grabbing a reverse as soon as I pull the trigger on a build
Go for it man, you know you're past due!
