There are a lot of local fisherman but not spearfisherman. They hook and line every day there besides Sundays. A few fish i shot had hooks in their mouth.

Yes you can rig them up to charge your batt.
Tachs do not come with motors.
Separate fuel supply would be best, if one gets contaminated, you can still make it home;)
