Very nice!! I like the sliding trigger..just like a 1911. Just curious, why did go with metal wishbones?

He didn't know it happened and I didn't say anything about it. Since nothing happened I didn't think it was even worth bringing up. Next time when I lose a foot I'll say something

I forgot about that Davie...I was taking my sweet time getting back in the boat and you or Kris were ready to move on to the next spot...without me..

In my first post I think what happened after I went in was the boat and me drifted into each other.

(Fucking New Guy)

Recently I was invited to go out with a new guy at work. He doesn't spearfish or freedive but he knew that I did. I had some reservations about going(don't know why) but I went anyways. He does like to lobster but with a hookah rig. No biggie I figured I brought an extra gun for him anyways. We spent half the morning lobstering 30-40fsw. I even tried the hookah. Pretty cool, but after a while it was annoying. We got our limit and then I had him take me to couple patch reefs for some drift dives. Got a couple hogs, and mutton. Towards the end of the day I was sitting on the gunnel ready to go in as he put me on the spot. He says go, and I slid off the side. As I'm breathing up, I hear the boat go in gear and at the same time my right foot starts moving up and down by itself. All I could say and think was FFUUCCKK!!! I didn't feel any pain but I was hesitant to look. No blood..good so far..fin is still there so that means so is my foot.
All I saw as few props marks so I figured it was even worth getting my speedo in a bunch. Later when I got on the boat, I noticed my blade had was no longer flat any more...it cracked:angry5:. Moral of the story...I dunno..it's raining and I'm bored.

That pretty much sums up the CF blades Dan let me try out. I cracked one of my Waterways(that will be another thread:0) So I started asking about the CF blades. He said I could try some out before I bought a pair. (Thanks Dan!!!!) I got off work early last week and headed up to his house where he promptly installed them into my Omer footpockets. We went out for a shore dive from his house. I had prior commitments, so we only went out to the first reef. Depths were between 15-20. I couldn't really tell a difference on the descent because it was so shallow, but laying on the bottom and kicking up I think it was less than 3 kicks to go up. Today I went outwith my GF and let her take pictures of coral and shit while I went to go play. Depths were between 35-50fsw. Seas were 2-3ft with a nice wind chop and a mild current. Surafce swimming I liked how the fins moved me along at nice brisk pace. Even going into the current I didn't have to continually kick. 2-3 kicks and coast...Underwater is where the blades really shine. The snappiness compared to the fiberglass is unbelievable. Descents and ascents are soooooooooo much easier now. Doesn't require a full kick from the hips just small ones with your calves.

This is my first Riffe. I've never liked the comp series, only because of the handle, it's too big for my hands. The euro has a smaller handle, resetting line release(quicker, easier reloading), the line release is on the side(I use reels. On the RA's , it's behind the reel. with gloves it's a tight fit to restring it.) Line attachment to the shaft is thru the Shark fin tab(again quicker, easier reloading)

What Marco said. I recently bought a Riffe Euro. It has features that my RA doesn't.

Here's what I use to keep my change of clothes dry.Big,cheap, reuseable and you can get them at Publix.

Yes only difference is the CF.
Hau, sounds like you have a nice quiver of guns. Getting the Cf won't bring in the fish
. IMO... get something you don't have, 140 for BW or a 90 for holed up fish. Just my 2 cents............ -
If you can't attend, please click link and send an email. I'll be at the one in Fl City Sept 15.

Yes I did get to use it. By far the best mask I've ever used. Did the toothpaste trick 3 times and hit it with a lighter once. Used spit before entry. Absolutely no fogging. Excellent field of view. No leaks, super comfortable, light weight. I highly recommend it. Two thumbs up

I say make any color the customer wants as long as it's black.

Start with a float then move on to a reel. After that you'll appreciate the reel soooo much more....

Alan, DO NOT get the Sphera. It really distorts everything because of the crappy lenses. I had one, tried it out and promptly returned it.
I'm pretty impressed with the Micromask. Minimal volume and bigger field of view than my Omer Alien.

Anybody know what's going on with it??

Oto, you need to stop overreacting so much...
