I guess I haven't mentioned it, but down in the Keys we had Mangos,Muttons,Grunts,Snook, and baitfish all floating at surface on their last breath or dead. My brother went fishing at Flamingo and was able to catch Snook by hand!! FWC was right there nobody took home anything, just let them die.

66 degrees and you guys a complaining? what a bunch of ..... ahh, never mind. congrats on the maiden voyage, 4 divers is a tough gig on a boat of that size but doable. like don said cary a pump even though a rib wont sink with one ballon flat. i wish we had 66 degree water temp right about now, we wont see that till june and thats in socal, up here it'll never make it past 60.
We (or maybe I should say I) have become spoiled to 82* water, nothing but trunks and rashguard with 60ft viz

-
Was this a yak dive or off the boat?
-
Ahhh..good times.

I don't like diving Halouver because the viz is usually pretty bad, but yesterday it was an easy 30-40ft.
Temps were at 66* in the morning. I wasn't cold in my 3mm,but I could definitely could feel how cold it was. At about 10 or so it warmed up to 70*. Fish were everywhere, almost had limit on hogs. Groupers were everywhere:@. One even tried to make friends <img src= " class="smiley" srcset="https://spearfishing.world/forum/images/smilies/emojione/1f606@2x.png 2x" height="23" width="23" loading="eager" data-tooltip="biggrin" aria-label="biggrin"> with Sergio while he was chasing a hog. Fun day on the water with friends and shooting fish

It's Dyneema. That's you're reel line. You should have mono as your shooting line attached to it and then to the spear.

Ch 16 on VHFGet a CWP if you're gonna carry on board. I know first hand, that officers will treat you a little different when you're licensed to carry.

There is no spearing in Key Largo. Gotta be north of of Broad Creek (dade county line)or south of Molasses Reef(and still be 3 miles out).

Nice Oto!! What were the depths?

Fuzz, seriously you have a problem.:@
That's a quite a quiver of guns. I'd hate to see what you keep to maintain these guns...extra bands, shafts, etc.
I'd be more than happy to take that big ugly blue one off your hands

When I was in high school, they were all the rave. You'd see them in Corollas,280Z.260Z. Probably the best one I saw was in a Suzuki Samurai, that thing would wheelie off the line

Yeah I know what you mean. I broke my foot kicking the heavy bag,the night before I was moving into my new house. I was pretty useless. Had some friends that came over to help with the move really helped, while I sat on the couch playing Xbox

Does the trailer have bunks or rollers? You don't have to have them but they're nice to have when it's windy or a lot of current. Don't be that guy at the ramp that has to keep putting his boat back in the water to get it staight on the trailer. You won't make friends that way.
