I dont mind necissarily if my nose hits the bottom of the skirt it is just that the nose pocket on the Riffe is so small that it is not comfortable, my nose is squeezed in there, they have such small nose pockets. I have my performance freedive clinic this weekend and would like to get a better mask for it so im not limited by mask squeeze by my nose. Anyone know were in south Florida they sell this mask to maybe order and try and if not a fit return it, thanks.

    Thanks LOMartin

Ok i need a new mask, i guess i have a slightly large nose because the Riffe Naida mask that I own hurts the bottom of my nose, the bone between the nose and upper lip and it is because my nose is so tight in the nose pocket and the skirt just needs to be a tad bit lower and it would be golden.

So can anyone tell me if the technisub Micromask may fit me better, does it have ample space for a large (not huge just i guess a little bigger than most) nose and that the skirt at least comes down more than the Riffe style masks.

I own the Riffe "Naida" and the "frameless" which are fitting me great around the face accept the nose, it is the nose pocket of the Riffe masks actually that are a bit small. The Riffe fit for "medium to wide" is fine for me just the nose is a bit small.

Will those who know of these mask but now use the Technisub Micromask be able to tell me if the micro will be better as far as a "medium to wide" fit and slightly more nose room on this mask? thanks all.

Lunker the weight is fine it's just that on a large euro130 gun it just adds a little more weight, but not a real problem, i was just interested in something different really, i like that RA Composite reel, thats a nice looking reel.

Hi guys, I am looking for a good strong but light reel for my Deathstick, I have a Riffe Horizontal reel on my other wood gun and it is good but a tad heavy, I would like some of your ideas on a good reel for my 55inch deathstick, one that has at least 2 screws for added strength and a reel that is relatively light, any ideas and maybe links or picks? thanks.

OOps sorry, yeah I need to upload pics, I am leaving on a cruise tommorrow for a week, when I return I will upload some pics, it's brand new and never seen water so it will look like the ones on the Riffe website, but, yeah I will upload when i return for everyone, safe diving.

Never seen water, no dings, nicks, scratches just brand new Riffe Euro with 3 9/16 bands for ease of loading and all the same power as the 2 it comes with. This is a beautiful color Riffe, with dark and light wood, real nice.

    $470

I have3 guns now, 1 is my Riffe Euro 130 which is a laser and great for clear water, a bit heavier to swim with but manageable, the next is a Riffe Euro-X 110 and an Aimrite super venom 120 which is to me the best one, smooth clean lines, great handle and trigger mechanism and light, real easy to swing and better all around for swimming and ascending with, I might just start using just Aimrite from now on and eventually sell my Riffe guns, I feel they are that good and super nice looking as well and can't beat the lifetime warranty.

Yeah pendelum dives are incredible to watch, obviously easy getting to depth but a bit scary trying to get back to the surface from so deep, ExtremeSpearfishing.com has lots of videos of many pendelum dives and 2:30 breath holds as well.

Well Im relativly new to freediving so I would say in the 30 to 50 right now, I take the Performance Freedive course this October and this will help me understand what I need to do in order to breath up properly and ventilation along with safety, right now I have simply done my best with limited understanding.

Hello all, Im looking for a freedive spearfishing club to join in the Boca Raton/Pompano/Ft Lauderdale area. Im 39 years young and have been in the Ocean nearly the whole time, I love to Dive (scuba) spearfish and fish and hang out with like minded people. I have only been scuba spearfishing mostly because my cousin turned me on to a club here in the area that does it, this helped me meet alot of great people and get out in the water spearing much more often, we spear deep on scuba but in all honesty I want to freedive spear more, Im not one to get all personal and take sides over if it's correct or not to spear on scuba thats not my thing, I just enjoy mother ocean and what it provides for me and my wife (tasty fish) and I enjoy good mature company.
I am taking the Performance Freediving course this October in Ft Lauderdale to improve my techniques and most of all safety, in so doing I would like to meet and dive with others and become friends to share good times with and learn from each other. I would like to know if there is a club in the area which agrees with what I said and maybe I can join or at least meet a few people to get to know them. I can easily pay for gas, food, drink on boat days and any membership fees if needed, I am just looking for good people to freedive spear with and become friends along the way, thanks all. I live in Boca Raton.

Yeah I got a 130 euro, my friend is a riffe dealer so I got a good price, then I got a little crazy and bought an Aimrite super venom 120 as well. Now my collection is almost complete...notice the almost...it's an addiction. Never had a pipe gun so I decided on the aimrite, just liked it better than the RA which im sure is equally as good. Wife's pissed but O well.

"put a rob allen shaft in the riffe euro, it fits. the riffe shafts bend really easy and they are 75 $"

I get my shafts from Ray Odor, great shafts and only $40
