    Hi All

I would like to ask a few questions about fins, right now I use Cressi Gara 2000hf fins, they are good for now because im just learning better techniques for kicks and soon I will be taking the "Performance Freediving" course in Ft Lauderdale in October of this month (can;t wait). I want to get a new pair of fins and foot pockets, something that would be a world of difference in terms of speed, power, performance, comfort and ascending speed from depth. I would like a pair of carbons probably and the money is not a problem so could you all tell me a few reallly good fins and fin pockets to check out that will make a big difference in freedive spearfishing for me, I know many have there favorites and thats ok but I would also like to know why they are, what is it that makes a great fin better than some, material, angle, foot pocket, etc, etc. Thanks all.

Im debating on what to get a Riffe Euro 120 or a Rob Allen Carbon 120. FloridaFreedivers is up the road from me and they carry both but would like some help deciding. I currently have a Riffe Euro-X 110 and love it and soon will have my custom Deathstick 55 inch rear plus, both excellent wood guns. I was thinking maybe I should get a pipe gun intsead for ease of swinging and just to have a good railgun, can you all give me your thoughts on a Rob Allen carbon 120 and also what you would possibly do, im torn between 2 great guns. How do Carbon Rob Allens hold up, swing, power, ease in water compared to a big Euro 120? thanks all.

Yes it's nice to have those functions on the D4 because I dive alot as well and use Nitrox, but, I already have a Suunto Vyper 2 for my comp and to spend over $600 for just freedive capability would be overkill and the wife would say no more spearguns...lol...can't have that now. Agree that a watch is very important for breath up times and I will look around some more for a better price, thanks.

Hi, I was wondering what most here use as there freedive watch, I see that Aeris has a freedive/air/nitrox watch which looks good and im also familiar with the Suunto D 4 watch, the Suunto seems a bit expensive at or around $600 so im curious as to what most use and the pros and cons of them, thanks all.

Hello all, I currently use a Riffe Euro-X 110 which has the extension for hip loading and I love this gun, I use my stomach muscles to load it and not really my hip. Im currently wanting to buy a 120 model without the extension (just the Euro) and was wondering if it is too big to load from the stomach, I can just comfortably load my 110 ok but moving up a size I think I can but not sure, the reason I load from my abs is because I broke some bones in my chest years ago in an accident.
So my question is can a 120 be loaded from your abs or hip instead of chest.
