Vamos a ver...

Alguna sugerencia? Cirujano? Generalista?

I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw the picture.:0

    Tremendo guacamayo! Congratulations.

    Felicitaciones...

That is a nice story. Fishing buddies are the best specially spearing buddies.:thumbsup2: I hope to make the same kind of progress as Carmelo did.

Tremenda pesca Marco...

if you guys are coming to cuba there are still a few places with losts of fish i come from the province of camaguey and we have have keys in bouth sides of the island there is a place called jardines de la reina that is a paradice i have not been there for many years but it a group of many many islands where no one lives with dream like waters ill try to go in my mext visit.

I heard that Jardines de la Reina has the best inshore fishing on this side of the world. Also that only one Italian company has the rigths to charter fish the area and only catch and release. No one else is allowed to fish there. Is that rigth??

Look for ideas in the kayak fishing forums and adapt them to your spearfishing needs. kayakfishingstuff.com is among the best and most informative. Something like an insulated fishbag sold in that same website, a milk crate for gear storage maybe some paddle holders for the guns. Its all a matter of personal needs. I love to fish from my kayak and will try spearfishing very soon.

    A Pulmon,

Words cannot describe that feeling!!!! I have only done it once before and I swore to myself I would never do it again as I came up empty handed but being that I was diving solo and there was not the danger of shafting a fellow diver, I didn't think twice this time and it paid off heftily!:thumbsup2:

That fish knew what a speargun can do and they are not stupid. That was the only way to get him.
It's like playing the slots, you know what you can get, but you don't know if you will get it.
    Congratulations and Buen Provecho.

Nice story and even nicer fish. I can imagine how it must have felt squezing the trigger into the dark hoping for the best and then feeling the pull of the fish. AWESOME!!

Sure he is. Maybe he is not aware of this issue... Make sure to tell him what's going on with the new (silver plated) shafts. There is a recall on all of them.

From what I read the issue is already resolved. But with my kind of luck you never know.

Here are some pictures from the day we saw you there....

You got some nice fishes that day. Hope you did not go to Cayo Enrique for drinks, then I will be just a little mad for not inviting us.
P.S. My new Rob Allen Tuna 120 is on it's way. Happy H. B. to me.:thumbsup2:

Well, you can start turning "greenish", but not for me. Mi friend Carmelo got like 5 10+ Pounder Pargos coloraós (Dog snappers) and Naranjo got a very nice "Cotorro". My catch was just an 8 pounder pargo and a couple of zeros. No pictures from my side...
At the end, we managed to fill a large Igloo cooler with fish. Mostly pargo colorao'.

I will post their catch in another post.

    As for the kids pool, I don't mind. We can always alternate spots; you take pictures and videos at the 70-80 feet spots and we will assist you in the 30' pesqueros. :;

OK... I am a little green. I saw one of the pargos, preety nice ones. Your plan sound good, I will let you know.

Yes I am Fernando. Yeah... next time I will let you know. Hope you don't mind spending some time in the kids pool 30 to 40 feet.
I know that those photos are not from that day, if they were I will be exteremely green with envy.

Hey Marco... Just saw your post. I amd the one who was with Robert and Pucho near you guys on monday. I stayed on the boat cause I am yet to go 50+. Robert and Pucho managed to bring up a couple of hogfish an some nice pargos. Later we moved to the kiddie pool, 30 feet, so I could get wet and spear something. There we got some more pargos, a spanish mackerel and some more. I will post when we go again.

Nice fishes Marco ...:hail1: Hope you guys left something for me. I will be going to Parguera next monday and will be happy with one mutton and one hogfish just like the ones you caugth.
