you gotta ask oto bro, mine is diamond skin, its still smooth but much tougher against small cuts.Thats what i would recomend for anyone that spears on reefs and stuff..the smooth skin is very sensitive imo

Went out of Boynton today with Oto and his cousin(driver). Got in the water at around 11:00pm..10 mins later we spotted a big school of spanish macs and after a few mins a king came out of nowhere.I dove down but he didnt give me a good shot so i decided to head up.After a few more dives, as Oto was heading up another king swam right under me..dove down, put a good shot right above the gill plate and the fight was on.I didnt know how good of a shot i had on him so we swam after him without putting a lot of pressure on him for a while.I ended up growing impatient so i started to pull and the shot was very good:thumbsup2:. Afterwards Oto shot a king.Instantly another one came by to check out the action, and at that same moment my line tangled on the reel so i went back to the boat to grab another gun, by the time i got back the fish was gone.A bit later another one swam right under me so i went for it.So there i am at 50ft looking, when out of nowhere a huge wahoo(i think) swings by..i followed and he swam a little bit harder, i didnt wait much so i fired and the fish takes off like a batt out of hell.By the time i surfaced i had about 50ft of line left on my reel(200ft total)...i didnt have time to tighten the drag or grab the line, maybe a was nerbous..who knows.Fish ended up taking of with my shaft and all 200ft of line, it even broke the small notch where you tight the line to on the reel.We also shot 3 amberjacks and Oto lost a nice black to a bull.It was a very good day out imo, this was my first time shooting kings and Oto shot his personal best king.Bulls where all over but we managed to get along..although we lost the black.Heres a quick pic..all i had was my phone. Both kings were 45''...Otos was a bit fatter than mine! i shouldve gotten a little bit closer to the camera!

the barrells are completely different..Rabi Apex barrells are thinner with a glued on track, and Makos Iconic pro barrells are beefier with a regular aluminum track..other than that they are the same..IMO both guns shoot good...most of you forget its not the arrow....

I love mine!
-
I just don't want to crack them or sumthing like that, shit happens you know. Shoot me a pm with a price

I dunno dan, I don't care if they're scratched or whatever. my concern with the diveRs is the scratches, other than that they're awesome..although I haven't tried yours yet
