wow indeed, i love ribs but thats beyond anything i've ever seen. ribs are really popular in europe because they are light, economical, fast and are generally well suited for the med waters. here's mine, the ss poseidon of course with full crew. it's a aegean 440 which is a greek brand specifically designed for spearfishing, it comes standard with a built in cooler, a compartment to store long spearguns and at 250 kilos i can pull and launch it with a compact suv pretty much anywhere. it's powered by a 50hp suzuki four stroke, a 4hp backup and weather permitting i can island hop at over 20 knots for next to nothing. aghhh, 8 more months till i see it again.

hey thanks guys. yah jeff and chad made me a killer carbon euro that's become my favorite gun when i'm in greece. i really like the free flowing ideas these two guys have put out there so i asked jeff a couple of years ago to make me a barrel to use with an off the shelf handle and muzzle. the gun is about 117cm long, 2 16mm bands and a 6.6mm ra shaft. it's got good power and maneuverability but what's really impressive is it's balance, i can hunt for hours and never get tired. i'll see if i can dig up some pics of it.

hi guys, i see most of the gang is here already. i received a link from davie (seaweed) to this forum, i had no idea it existed, thanks davie.

as some of you already know, i live in northern california and spearfish all over for almost 40 years. ok ok i now but i'm not as old as billy mac. anyway, it's nice to be here and i hope to contribute positive, informative and hopefully entertaining information.

feel free to give a holler if any of you are ever out in my neck of the woods.
