Sorry Hau, I've been in class getting my Master's 100 ton license and haven't been able to get out. Hopefully I'll get out there next week. Leave some fish for me.

I'm Fat, so I need the weights. But I'll give it a shot. If I ever get back in the water!!

This guy seems to be a little slow to me. He's probably got an IQ of about 240.:nono:

Somebody had to have gone out today? It looked flat like a mill pond out there.

Welcome fellow RhodyIslander:welcome2:
You should be coming up to the warmest time of the year for Rhody. -
Be wary of Baja. I lived in San Diego for nine years. The Federales there don't have the best reputations. Baja's great don't get me wrong. But getting in and out might be a problem. Remember to bring your passport. FYI

Where are you in the keys?

Dare I say that YOU, HAU, are the Mack Daddy?:laughing3:
-
touche Steven, you must be one of those "more advanced" spearfishermen
of course, you, in the sand at the edge of a reef, was not what I meant, I was referring to some fool in the middle of a sandy desert just waiting for nothing to show up. :laughing3:
No, that would be me on deployment in the middle east, sitting in the sand waiting for nothing.:thumbsup2:

Yes sir they are.
I have also been seeing ALOT of muttons on the first reef.
But they're all very smart mutton.
I have been educating them. -
Welcome

Don't let the Japanese know where you are. Those babies will be gone.:cool3:

it's a classis case of different people independently coming up with similar ideas. Griswold and i started working on it in earnest a couple of years ago. Since then (through this forum), i have learned that hau has dreamed of such a thing for a very long time.
One thing that i have learned in all my tinkerings is that "good ideas" are almost never as "new" as we think they are. A lot of smart divers came before us (potts, prodonovich, etc..), and they probably tried and tested things that we never knew existed.
I would like to publicly thank hau. Both for his time in testing the carbon fiber enclosed gun, and for doing his best to keep these discussions out of the mud. Thanks hau.
