That shark was pissed. Fins down and the whole bit. Good job, he earned that fish.

Not likely brother. They'll take all they can with the bubble machines

In California... the general populace often doesn't even know what spearfishing is, frowns upon it, or sometimes both... "I don't know what a speargun is, but it sounds wrong". Not sure if it's the sense of overt policical correctness or just a general disconnect between the dinner table & where the food comes from.
In California, they hear "gun" and immediately think it's a bad thing. Nazi state. Might as well have given the state to the Mexicans by now. :cool2:

The 15mm band material is some in-between sized stuff that I got from John Hanson.
The bullseye is a big headed push pin.

So, we are actually relying on the waste water treatment facilities to police themselves as to whether the discharge has been properly treated, primarily and secondarily, to be released into the ocean? So, the way I read it, they have left themselves an out. Typical. :laughing3:

cool, glad you guys went, What in particular did they point out you felt like you had been doing wrong?
Diving alone and improper technique.:nono:

I have to agree with Sdeisen. The seminar was very cool. Of course they were hawking there school. but they brought up some things that I have been doing wrong, and that they could help me with my problems. The videos they presented were eye opening and humbling I will be taking the course after I check my schedule.:thumbsup2:

Well, the best cure for a hangover is abstinence. The next one is something I learned from my Mexican friends, Menudo. If you don't know what it is that's good. You don't want to. All I'm going to say is that it has tripe in it. He says it soaks up whatever alcohol is left in you. Try it and let me know. I've never tried it. Good luck.

Personally,I don't care to dive solo. I'm not that experienced with freediving and I've always been taught that it's not a good idea to go out alone. In my personal opinion. I would be tempting fate. But to each his/her own.
Good luck :cool2: -
I'm lookin to go tomorrow.
