It is probably oiled. With a couple more coats of teak oil it should get shiny. Applying oil is way easier, faster, and cleaner than messing with epoxy.

Bolt the motor to the yak, probably towards the front. No pole or steering, the have bolt on motors but they are expensive. Steer with your legs you don't need drastic turns, just point in the direction you want to go. A fishfinder can be put in since they use very little battery power.
My kayak had a hole in the middle of legs for the pedals and I thought of putting a motor I have there but pedal/paddleing it was easy enough.

Sure why not. Trolling motors are around $100 and can push a boat, deep cell battery are around $60 and can motor you around all day. The weight should be like a regular kayak, all you need is some sand wheels. Saves some energy on a long swim and should get you going faster than a kayak can paddle.

Slap a trolling motor and battery on it and you've got a sweet 3rd reef buggy.

Those quick release weights are expensive.I've seen some from an other brand at around $30 each.
The band adapter is for their phantom spearguns. Seeing as the gun sucks with or without it I can't really comment on its effectiveniess.

Greekdiver had a nice rig he made with a neoprene hat and a helmet strap, it looked quite nice and was pretty stable as far as shaking and such
I think a better mount would be to the side of your head on the mask strap like those mask flashlights. Greekdivers head mount puts the camera out of the water when on the surface or want to record the fish fight.

You can use both.

It is a good route, the return to nature with an urban touch stuff seems to be popular know. I guess people are getting over the urban scene. I would buy it for sure if I bought clothes.

Man o man, how did you get Sea World to let you dive in their aquarium?

Welcome.
I prefer all wood track, I never really had a problem after 2 guns with all wood track. I have shot into holes with them and all.
Using delrin you need to use a delrin rod or square, I do not think it comes in the shapes that neptonic sells. So a square delrin needs to be cut like a trapezoid to be like neptonics, lots of precision needed. A round one is just put in deep enough so that more than half of the circle is below the wood. Then the rest that is above the track is cut flush with the gun. Round delrin is easier but needs more wood cut out, like 3/4" round ball.

On the other hand, If it was that easy everyone would have a fish head in their house.
I expect it to be very tedious and difficult if I ever do it. The difficulty of it is what gives value to the owner.

Never tried it but I have some carcasses buried deep in my yard if you ever want to dig them up and see. I doubt anything has eaten them but you never know, maybe you'll find those beetles that eat dead stuff.
Maybe gently simmer it until all meat is cooked then pick off all of the meat/skin/organs. Boil only enough to break down the flesh not the cartilage seems like the key.

I've seen one here in Ft. Lauderdale and only one.... He was tasty.

35 HRC seems low compared to RA 55 HRC.
I have a 130 I won't be using. Was looking to get around to using it but one gun is enough here in FL.

When it rains here some grassy areas are submerged and the carp swarm on it to eat. I think they eat 1/3 their weight in vegetation a day. They are used here for vegetation control here and are can't be taken by any method.
Kind of the opposite from everywhere else I have seen.

I think the thunder/lightning scares the fish. I remember H&L it is very hard to catch fish when there is lightning or fireworks. We found out about the fireworks a couple years ago when we fished July 4th.

Check out the ROVs cutting away at stuff on the bottom with a saw. Funny to see how hard it is for the people controlling them from the surface to do. It's probably like playing a video game.

I used to put in a garbage bag wraped 2 or 3 times never had problems. I've seen other use a regular dry bag.
I kept it in place as forward in the yak as possible. I cut a pull noodle and glued it to the inside bottom sideways like a boat stringer to make a "semi-compartment".
However I'm sure you can get a tupperware container that will fit the battery. Cut a hole and pass the cables in through the side and seal the hole with cables in it with silicone.

Very cool. When I first saw the palm frawn sink my first thought was what would happen if they laid eggs on me.
