Nice work John, did you buy a lathe or do it at your friends place?

Normally I wouldn't post this in the california section but it happened on the backside of cat!

I'm just following everyones example, from what I hear anyone on the outside can read the first post. But only members here can read the second one onward.

Went to cat on a work trip today, flat calm on the way there with slight chop on the way back. I heard the water was warming up but it wasn't so where we were. From parsons to just past bird rock it was about 61 degrees on the surface and much colder down below. Vis towards the west end was about 20ish feet, got worse as you headed east. Saw some bait on the surface and a lot of bait down at 50 feet. We were on scuba so didn't see or hear any wsb or yellows.
I was going to take a look for yellows friday but based on that I think I'm sleeping in.

Thanks for the update, I just heard from my coworker who's there on vacation. Water temp at 64 but vis is 15ish mid island.

Real nice Mike, thanks! I'm thinking of ordering one as a backup, will it fit a 50 lb fish in it without flopping out?
