He was just found aliveeeeeeeeeeee!!!
-
It is hard to say, we can only speculate, am guessing he had a cramp, or some kind of gear failure and the currents took him out to the drop off, wich is very close, and its blue water from there on.
Am not thinking it was a SWB, since the buoy has not being found, and they were barely in 20-30 feet of water.
This is so sad, that first day, at night when we got to the car to get his phone and
call his parents and wife, is something that breaks your heart, and hoping he might
still be alive , but floating at night in the blue abyss, cold and alone, is so hard. -
Don
Water is 84F +, but even warm water will
be dangerous if exposed for long enough, this
is his second night. -
3 divers went out yesterday to a shallow spot, one of the divers did not came back to the boat, float and gear has not been found, I contacted all agencies, Coast Guard response was inmediate and searched for him all night, close to the spot is the deep drop off, and he could have gone offshore with strong currents, our prayers to finding him alive.

Gikas, really pretty, I like it.
Piece of art. -
I cant but smile and feel happy for the guy, the screams out of joy is better than any music you can put on it, while we eat what we fish, these days we can go and buy our fish, but imagine our ancestors when their hunt meant the food for the loved ones.
There is nothing like spearfishing out there,I love it.
Thanks Ramon.

Kaboat , first time I see this, normally, the combination of 2 diferent things means you wont get any of the best they would have by themselfs,
but as a small boat with an engine, I do think it will be a great light boat. -
i really love the long shot at around 2:30 as that hog tried to flee..the shot was so far that you can actually see the spear slow down right before impact...very cool
I also agree, that was so cool, and the vis, oh boy you guys had a blast, plus those YFT in the boat next to the big hogs, congrats guys, and thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys, we have been taking a few big ones lately, not too common, they are exelent eating, but they are not curios, actually, they are really hard to get.
lion fish are good eating, but normally are not big enough, but they are getting bigger and bigger. -
Had the chance to take Tim out, found a few nice logs in the blue water, jumped in some pinacles and drop off and also in some Reefs, water was clear but started raining in the afternoon.
Got a few fish, killed some lion fish, and Tim landed another really big Yellowtail snapper.
here a few pics.
