Ronny. The slots on the bottom are for adjusting the preload strength for different power settings
I figured that, kind of takes away from the sleekness. Still a work of art

What is the purpose of the bar around the back of the engine? Cool looking boat.
protects the engines from hits, once you ride on those shock mitigating seats you'll never want to use a leaning post again.

I agree the roller gun designs are getting a lot simpler. Very nice gun, one question though why have the extra slots? it tends to take attention away from the rest of the gun.

Nice lookin gun. How much lead did use for ballast?
No lead, the combination of the teak and cumaru balanced it perfect, negative with shaft in and floats with shaft out

Hey my old reel adds some nice bling to that good looking gun.
HA! yea I love the reel got to really use it once and I loved it.

shot 6 of them in about 20 minutes under the boca chica bridge in key west. I didnt see any there last year, now they are everywhere. There is also a severe lack of lobster down there. I wonder if the LF are driving them out?
Same here, usual inshore bridges that held bug have been dry but full of LF which were never there last year

Putting up my last build to fund my next build, gun has seen water twice and both times performed flawlessly. I originally built this gun to go after AJ's but I haven't had the opportunity to hit the water as much as id like. It has a Neptonics tuna mech (polished), Ulusub composite handle, 3 fresh bands, Wong 8mm shaft, Rob Allen stainless reel all rigged up and ready to kill. Blank is 2 strip of teak and 2 cumaru and built completely on west systems 105 and urethane clear as top coat. Hurts to sell a home built but this gun is just collecting dust as its the one size I don't shoot often . If you are local your more then welcome to take a look at it/water test. Price is $450 and not looking for offers.

Weird, I order from Neptonics routinely and usually get my stuff in 2-3 days, but I am in the CONUS. I have heard that sometimes they take off and leave everything pending till they back.

-
I have no problem paying disposal fee if they're disposing something, not on a new car.
-
Dan every dealer I've delt with charges dealer fees, tire disposal fee, battery fee etc..and taxes the fees which is BS. I stay away from dealers as much as possible since most cars are quick fixes to make a buck, private sales are the best to find a better deal.

looks like a bonefish and lady fish mixed

Where did you get the %63 figure?
WSVN-TV - Miami-Dade voters keep pit bull ban
There is still hope, MCABSL and commissioner Sally are going to push hard to bring this down through the courts. This just proves one thing, our population is not capable of making informed decisions on simple issues such as this one, only 18% of people actually voted, that's pathetic
