Greek, you´re right, I have not tried the Tovarich (and I could get a kit for free since Ramón Boto is my personal friend), but I am not really interested. At this moment, I think I have the guns I need.
I know what you mean. When you have what you need to kill fish, and its doing it well, i wouldn't change either!

quick question. You use 9/32" shafts. Did you get your muzzle in 7.14mm or in 7mm. If you got the 7.14mm how do 7mm shafts fit, and if you got the 7mm, how do you 9/32 shafts fit?
muzzle is 7.14mm (9/32) on tovarich kit. I think 7mm would work fine too on 7.14mm muzzle. I haven't tested but im sure they would work without leaking. You could always order 7mm if you only plan on shooting 7mm. Since we live in america, i would go for 9/32.
Marco is right about normal pneumatics. Although, i'm betting he hasn't tried a tovarich system on a pneumatic. I love it. Railguns are way more heavy than a pneumatic with a tovarich kit. Aiming is harder on the pneumatic but with practice, its pretty accurate. It shoots very straight and i keep getting more accurate with it.

Which motherboard are you using? Didn't know they're worth repairing unless it's a broken fan bracket or something simple like that.

You are easily using way too much weight. If i were to guess, you need like 3-4lbs. I use 3 lbs with a 2.5mm close cell shorty. I have more body fat on me, and but i have more muscle(muscle sinks and fat floats). I weigh 190lbs.
Once you get used to less weight, you won't go back to more weight.

floor is fine as long as spear is facing towards the back corner of boat. I havent had a problem yet and i dont think i will ever.
You can use old bands like someone mentioned. But that never works as you always lose the rubber.
burning of legs means the blood is shifting from legs to the vitals. Legs can work without oxygen. Leg burn is actually good from a long deep dive.
Dolphin kick doesn't use less air. It just uses different muscles. Its probably less efficient unless you are using a mono fin. Some people switch to dolphin kick so they don't feel a burn in their legs.
whatever guns makes you feel happy and confident using will kill the most fish for you.

How will you do the test? There are many factors to consider.
How much pressure will you put in the gun? If you pump it up to its max, you wont even have to run the test. You cannot achieve this by using a hand pump.
Weight of shafts should be the same if you trying to compare penetrating power.
