And yes, I know who's the "cuban snapper" buyer...

There is a misconception with barracuda among most US people. I've read that it stinks, that isn't good to eat, etc. I must say that cuda is one of my favorite fish for eating. It is good prepared any ways. I can't eat it any more because in PR there is a high risk of ciguatera with cudas. I've got ciguatera once by eating a 4 pounder fillet.

In Venezuela, barracuda market price is the same as red snapper.
