Dove at Carlsbad today. There was some pretty big surf coming in. We had, at best, 8 foot vis. At the bottom, vis dropped to less than 4. Really heavy surge. No fish seen by me. Capt Leo took one spot fin. Temp was really nice. Maybe around 67.
The water looked much nicer from Dana Point down to the Barn. From the Barn south, conditions looked much worse.

Thanks for the report Darren. I heard LJ was only 10ft in most places today and a hazy ten at that. I will venture elsewhere in hopes for seabass tomorrow. Not to say that there aren't still fish there:)
