We went off 9 mile reef on 08/19/10 in Jacksonville Fl and my first dive no gun just looking around and all I saw were sharks..... Came up and went to another spot and same thing. Third try took my gun with me feeling lucky and I got grazed pretty bad on my side by a reef shark. I didn't get any more water time because of the blood so we just fished for rest of the day and caught nothing but sharks.Oh wait.... I caught one whiting that was torn apart by two sharks on the way up.
I think I'll wait this summer out....

It has been pretty bad this summer. The whole warmer water thing has alot of species hanging around of the coast that aren't normally here. Dan I didn't get a picture of it. The next day it it didn't look like anything. I was disappointed because the story made the injury sound was sweeter than it looked
