New guy here

Hey everyone. I am a Philly guy who does a lot of fishing, and spends a fair amount of time in Florida. As I am headed to the Keys twice this winter, I want to try my hand at spear fishing/ lobster tickling, in addition to the backcountry trips I already have planned. I am not looking to do anything crazy, just maybe spear some dinner for my lady friend and myself. I will be in Marathon the first trip and the second trip is up in the air. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I do a lot of cooking, and write a food blog in Philly, so I am really excited for the ocean to table aspect of fishing.
