This one is for my San Diego brothers..
One of only 3 ''Jackpot'' reels I have ever touched, I'll bring it down to a club meeting this year.
It came from the Wind'n Sea area, any of you guys know the previous owner ?Cheers, Don

Two more of this very early Jack gun.
This is Jacks early reel that evolved into Wally Potts PVC unit later on.Note the silver soldered construction.
Just noticed the slide ring slid back to the tap in the picture. I'll shoot some more of Jacks Stem Point in the AM.
Cheers, Don -
Reel elaborate but effective science fiction seems

Don, any chance you got this gun off e-bay a few weeks / months ago? -

Yes I heard you missed bidding on it after I owned it.What I paid was a small fraction of my max bid as I had to put it with Jacks other guns I have.
I was concerned some one who was not a knowledgeable vintage collector would take the reel off or steel wool the parts. I later drove to SD as I didn't want the owner to ship it, the reel is priceless to me. Now I have the long road of peeling back the layers of it's ownership. It had to be some one close to jack. I would like to show it to Marty P.

When I started 30 years ago a lot of my guns were bought for 20 to 30 bucks each and a mint copy of The Complete Goggler could be bought at a bookstore for $5.00....times have changed.
Cheers, Don
