It needs to be a nice sunny day when the Main Beach is packed. Fishing boats, paddle boards, surf boards and lobster-men at the paddle out. Those that can't attend can have a toast to our long lost friend in sports bars out side Laguna and homes in Cali. Western Outdoor News and major media will be invited to this very sad day. Maybe Guinness would step up with some easing of the pain ? I'll personalty invite my heros; Dana Rohrabacher and Buzz Aldrin to the sadness.

I'm there on 2/25 for sure. the wife will be in canada with the baby.

I think Main Beach Laguna will be my new entry and exit point when meeting up with my Boat partner. This way ill have to swim in with my gear and catch from non closed areas, which is totally legal. I hope the bluebelters/coastwatchers call the dfg on me. It will be a fantastic waste of their time.

Sorry guys , the group I was working with couldn’t seem to get the event off the ground for several reasons , Logistics , lack of interest from key players in rod and reel community, cost , time ,sponsorship, commitment Etc ,etc
