I blew it today. Dropped my fin and couldnt catch up to it. Dove PL and the edge of the reserve in LA Jolla. Lots of small bugs and a few nice Sheeps. I also saw a rockfish of some kind and a treefish or tree bass? Not sure on the length of those but was cool to check him out. Good luck out there.

I have caught them just heard them called a few different names. Didn't shoot it though. I am gonna try to Id the other fish later. Not too many colors 50' deep. Millions of short bugs though.

nice move brett. when you gonna come up here and dive laguna? we can shoot fish with cameras and eat vegan food at one of those nice little cafes near main beach. i want to see if the bluefin tuna are back now that its illegal to spear fish in laguna.

Hopefully the MPAs near there will help fix that for you Brett! I heard there is nothing but 10lb bugs in all the current mpas.

ha 10lbs bugs. I got limits in the south la jolla MPA leading up to january 1st. for 7 days in a row. it was epic.
