Stupid question: how to reverse handle on a sporasub one 50?

Hi all,

Sorry for the stupid question but I don't want to break it, how do I reverse the handle (put it on the other side)? I couldn't see anything obvious, do I have to remove all the screws or is there a more elegant way of doing this?

That sucks, the spring broke when I tried to put it back, I just received the reel today

I emailed sporasub asking where I can order a new spring, I hope I can get one from them.

The part is a common spring design that may be able to be matched up in a industrial supply store such as;
Mcmaster Carr. USA if they can't send you one.

Thanks for the support and info Don, I'll keep you posted with the customer support experience and worst case scenario I'll try to find one, I'm travelling in Europe right now (north) so not sure they have stores like we have.

So, I emailed SporaSub last night and they replied this morning asking me for my location so they could send me to the closest representative. I explained I was currently in a landlocked country so no spearfishing gear and they checked and said that this is true and that they don't usually deal with end clients directly but that since there are no representatives close to me they would mail me the replacement part.

I am quite happy with the level of support, thank you SporaSub, you have a happy customer
