To prevent water droplets on the gopro lens, I recommend rubbing the crap out of it with Rain-X.

Or you can lick/spit on it while its dry like a mask and then lick it periodically in the water.

The water droplets messed up my jetski video a while back so I came up with this.
It takes a lot of rubbing to get it perfect...especially for filming in the rain but not as much for spearfishing.
