I was interested in two different things. Has anyone played with polarized filters on their camera? I know that they are amazing for sunglasses and I assume that the are largely useless underwater as there is not a lot of glare.
I was thinking of putting one in a housing for my gopro hero one to mount on the boat for good surface footage and perhaps day long time lapse.
The other question I had relates to the newer models. The 3 and 3+. I know their white balance is touted as much improved. My question is, if I install a filter but start every vid looking at the sky above water, will the white balance adjust above water and then kick in for natural red fill as I dive?
