I am a complete amateur spearfisher, but anxious to learn and participate more. Live in Dallas, but visited Key West last summer and went on my fist spear fishing trip. It wasn't easy, but was a ton of fun. I did get one hogfish and our guide Michelle brought in at least a dozen more hogfish, which made for a glorious feast. I'm looking to plan a family trip in November somewhere in the Bahamas, so came here looking for advice on where might be a good place to spearfish at that time of year. Would also need to be a place where there are other things to do for those in our group that don't want to spearfish. Might also be good if there were plain old fishing options as well.
I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.
