Chinese versus Bahamas fishing

If I had a dog in the fight, or if I knew the situation I may have a stance on this. I wonder, however, if this is going hand in hand with the Chinese fishing vessels that were recently sunk (Argentina I believe?).

Several recent articles come up if you Google it, though I could not find any that indicated a deal had been made.
