So the lighter and toothpaste tricks are a one time fixes it all or a regular before dive thing? Here in Antigua, we have a special bush that divers look for before dives, and dip the leaves in water and scrub the lenses. It sots up quite well and works perfectly as a defogger.

Dan, I bought this mask in Diver's Direct in Orlando and the guy took it out and did a seal test to see if it was the right fit for my face...he said it passed :(. That wasn't the case when I went diving with it. It fogged up terrible, even with defogger.

Ok guys, what dive masks are you using, and why do you prefer them? I have an Omer Bandit Exclusive with the mirror tint, and it sucks :(. When I dive I can barely distinguish shapes in front of me lol. From the first use it drips in water no matter how you adjust it, so I threw it in a corner and now use a cheap $10 mask i bought on amazon (which works perfectly :)).

Yeah, they actually look pretty disgusting when we grab them, but all the black parts get trimmed off and the meat inside is nice and white. I don't usually eat the black parts (or "lips" as we call them in Nor Cal ;)), but some people like to grind them up and stew them into a tasty chowder.

Here's a link to a good article on step-by-step trimming and preparation of the foot of the snail:

What the hell is that?!? It looks like that person is slicing a potato. Is that really a snail???

Thank you for your input. I was in Belize in October last year for my honeymoon, and went snorkeling....your wasters are beautiful and rich with large and diverse aquatic life. I didn't want to leave the water, which was only 10 ft deep lol.

thanks for the input guys. Nick, from what I read with these plugs, is that they help in equalization and allow sound in and also small amounts of water after a certain depth has been reached. There are numerous testimonials on the site stating that it was the best thing since sliced bread lol.

Thank you. It is indeed a beautiful little paradise. The only downfall is that our aquatic life are not as diverse as most placed I see here :(. I have been diving in many different areas around the island every sunday for 8 months, between 0-40ft, and have only seen a mutton snapper once

x2...i love my pursuit suit, it feels like it is not even there.

for reference, I am 6'4" and 210 right now, a little chubby for my build...the xxl suit fits me like it was made for my body.

and I am warm in it for any amount of time

I am 1" taller and 58lbs heavier than you who is wearing a xxl, so what size would fit me lol?

I am 6' 5" and 268 lbs, and swim in the caribbean tropics. I have been looking for the right wetsuit for some time now but don't have any experience with these size charts and who fits bigger or smaller. I don't want to buy one and it doesn't fit or is too big when I get it, so could you guys help me out picking the right size/type/brand wetsuit for my needs.

Ok, I saw these for sale on Scubasworld and they seen quite interesting, but I would like to get real world experience with them. Who has used them and what experiences did you have, and if you never used them, do you think you would?

I sell band making material; rubber tubing, Dyneema wishbone material, band tying twine etc. You can see the contact information on the contact us page of the store.

just called you twice...no answer :(

I have not tried any other shafts as the only shafts that are sold here on island, are the Beuchat shafts. 98% of the spearguns on this island are Beuchats .

Any euro shaft with a round notch should fit. Are you looking for a store that sells them?

I was trying to find out what would fit. I actually put this gun down because of the lack of power and range. My other Buechat 90cm canon has more range than the marlin lol. Where can I purchase a compatible shark fin 7mm shaft?
