So I have a cheap pole spear that I use when I shoot mullet and sheepshead by my seawall. I accidently shot something and the threaded part broke off and is stuck in my tip which is bent. I was thinking about buying a arrow head and trying to weld, sotter, or glue it on. Would that work, are there any other options, or should I just keep the band and buy a new pole? Thanks in advance for any help!

Reminds me of a fish kill we had in south Fl last year, our canal that we lived in was covered with fish.

I wouldn't shoot a ribbonfish, first, they look like if you shot them they would zap you or something. and they dont look like very good eating

Ok, so I decided that I'm going to get a pole spear to start. Now which spear tip would you recommend me to get??

What would be the best pneumatic gun in my price range?

To dan, Probably 100-200 dollars. I don't have much of a preference but i like the wooden ones.

So the size gun doesn't matter, just the size of the band?

Yes, i have used a pole spear before. I am 5 feet 8 inches.

Hey guys,
I'm pretty experienced with snorkeling and free diving. I love to be in the ocean. I am new to spear fishing.
