Don i have a bunch of tattoos and will end up with many more! So i say charge it!!!! I did a paper on tattoos and "self mutilation" in college but if tattoos are self mutilation then so is drinking, smoking, and drunk, smokey nights with women of questionable morals. And lord knows I'm not giving that up!!!

welcome aboard matey!!!

nothing like the smell of the white break wall when leaving dana point harbor....im sure all the tourists will flock to it in lj
-
Look at it this way...when you swam in to talk to the people on the beach a fat hungry eater swam
outside the shore brake. Synchronicity put you in a safe place.;)Cheers, Don
What about me Don??? I was then left as the sacrificial lamb hahahahah

ha 10lbs bugs. I got limits in the south la jolla MPA leading up to january 1st. for 7 days in a row. it was epic.
hmmmm....

I disagree... A slip-tip is the way to go... the thin JBL polespear sliptips are dope and penetrate with ease. I don't want to run into a 20lb hali with only a 5 prong!
Well if its 6 inches plus thick your slip tip isn't gonna toggle and then your screwed! Shoot it in the head with a 5 prong and it will be doing the death quiver before you touch it.
-
Millions of short bugs though.
Hopefully the MPAs near there will help fix that for you Brett! I heard there is nothing but 10lb bugs in all the current mpas.
-
Awesome Ron!!! I dont think i could pin that sucker down with both legs kicking...
-
A double flopper Brett? IF not it will pull out if your not careful.
I highly recommend getting a 5 prong tip for halibut specific dives and will never be confused as a hooked device when doing combo dives.

Note to self... dont dive Heisler... got it.
On a brighter note bugs were crawling in the rain last night

They should rename it a "slob"

Fricken awesome Chris!! That is a hell of a good day under any circumstances, but right before the final bell... epic!!!

Well according to my buddy the "swimmer" was no expert and there is no way to know what it really was. I know there was a small salmon shark seen near there a few months ago.

I think Mike E or ScienceMike saw a real shark between abalone point and reef point a while back.
