    Viz: crap on the inside but decent in like 8-15ft
    Game Taken: 4 Bugs and a Halibut


    Dove a spot that holds a decent amount of halibut and lots of lobsters. I all but gave up on the halibut after like 5 swan dives into the sand. My buddy shot a nice 27 in Halibut on his first dive and that was it for the flatfish. I spent the rest of the time combing through the eel grass for 3 legal lobster and a fair amount of shorts. My buddy Matt also got a single legal.


    It was a fun dive and well worth my time. I plan on enjoying Laguna Beach as much as possible in the next few months. So, lets go dive and enjoy it while we still can.

    Hey Guys!


    My name is Wes and I am brand new this board. I have been a member of a few other forums and was just informed about this one. I live in Orange County California and I have been diving for about 3 years now. I have always fished in both fresh and salt water but Diving is something pretty new to me. I had a pretty good year this year getting some first knocked off the list as well as a couple new personal bests. I look forward to meeting some new people and hearing some awesome stories!
