    Loading a gun in the stomach is caveman technology. You are using brute strength and have to change the direction of your wrist half way thru. The easiest way to load a gun is to chest load it. The pull is straight back towards your chest palms up. If timed correctly no other method is as efficient.

    And if you are loading a good size gun using the stomach loading method then your using loose bands, because bands stretched the proper amount this method would be almost impossible.

    As far as Mako- (Dano) he's a straight up guy, and he takes care of his customers. I don't own any of his guns(because my brother owns Aimrite) but I do buy other things from him.

    freek - as you know I'm training these kids right now, its their dad's boat and he helms it. Taking on another student at this time would not be good as I would not be able to dedicate the time I should with you. Give me about a month and then we'll chat. In the meantime, pratice breath holding at home. You'll be surprised how much you'll improve with little risk.

    As a side note: I will be trying to get the Exetreme Divers Club back in order so look for updates soon.

    kind of hard to explain without seeing it. you sort of have to swing your hips a little, like a pussy or flaming gay. Kicking a first to gain momentum then changing to maintain momentum then at the end it very little slow kicks due to increase in positive bouyancy.

    Pargo your right, the few times I have taken photos I got so wrapped up in what I was doing I forgot to equalize, had to swim up to relieve the pressure.
    One time my partner was going to video me dropping on the Mercedes, I had a like 8 minute breath up waiting for him. I went down and he filmed there was no target so I just hanged out on the bow like bad ass. Next thing I do is look up to see where he is and he is gone! So I lazy took my time and surfaced and screamed at him what happened? He looked at me and told me to check my watch it said I was down 67 ft for 2 minutes. I was so relaxed laying on the bow section that it didn't even phase me. Then I said "ooh" o.k.

    I not going to back paddle on this one, but I am going to say if you minimize you large kicks and prevent them from buffering too much then you should improve. It's almost impossible not to use your thigh muscles when finning, all I'm saying is be aware of when your doing it.

    Talking about true freedivers and not freediving spearfishing is like talking about oranges and tangerines. There kinda of the same, but not.

    Look I'm only posting what works with me, if it's not what you want to do don't do it, you may have a better way. I'm basing my post on my experience and over 10 years of freediving spearfishing.

    So my spanish lesson of the day

    salchichons= rainbow runners ?

    Once shoot a 7 lb that was about 37' long rainbow runner that pulled me thru the water, my partner from the boat came by and asked what I had I said a rainbow runner he said "What"?

    Large open kick strokes bring the knees away from the body thus buffering somewhat, also using your thigh muscles to do these large strokes will use more oxygen then using just your calf muscles.

    I've seen him in that area at least 4 different times. One time he was below me running perpendicular and about four feet below, scared the b-Jesus out of me. We have never had any issues with him. He just swims by watches you crap your pants then slowly swims away.:laughing3:

    I remember the shallow rigs, the Stickmen took me out to the ones in L.A.(lower Alabama). Zero Vis on surface that opened up to clear water just like you said, but it was spooky a little with the low light conditions.
