Well, as promised, here is some stuff from my backyard grocery store... Sorry for all the pics, I just have a lot of crap growing around the house... Here are my ever bearing Mulberry, Guava, young Pineapple, passion fruit & sugar cane...

Pineapples are all about sun. I have had 3 in the backyard jungle that have not fruited in 3 years, while the ones in the front that get more sun, produce fruit every 14-18 months or so. Just chop of the piña, and leave the old plant. It will sprout new suckers that produce fruit faster than replanting the top of the one you just harvested... Enjoy!

I just harvested my second banana plant. More bananas than I know what to do with.
I have a bunch of stuff growing in the jungle around the house. I'll post some pics and descriptions when I get home tonight...

Was definitely a ripping current. You can see from the screen grabs on RC's goPro how my floatline is super tight. It seriously sucked dragging my Omer Atoll float around it that, not nearly as streamlined as those bad ass banksboards.
Good mmeting you RC. Judah, a pleasure as always...

Beautiful gun. WHat do they run? I'm due for a replacement. a 120 would do real nice in my quiver...

Can any of you guys edit old posts on the other site? I can close old threads, but can't delete them...
If someone has an answer, please share...

I assume they are all in the camo pattern you posted? I'll take one regardless of pattern available...

I have gotten a few of those. I have given some thought to suing him but it is unfortunately totally in his right as it is a private board.
I still read over there as there is a lot of good info and good people but I post less and less. I just don't want to contribute to his ego
The idea that anyone can control the info by curtailing free speech will ultimately reap the fruit of bitter isolation when no one will speak to them at all
Sycophants will desert and symbiots will exhaust your resources and depart.
I'm right there with you. I rarely post there anymore, but when I can help a new diver out, why not.
I didn't even provide a link to Dan's site, just said that his and Riffe's suits are the only ones that fit me off the rack. Pretty sad when you can't even help out a fellow diver with a problem that you already found the answer to...
I guess I'll have to post a big pic of myself with a Speardiver suit holding a nice fish. Curious to see ho long that will be up...
-
I'll probably get banned on the other board for posting this here, but I recommended a Speardiver suit to a fellow diver on the other board yesterday, and this is what I received in return... un****ing believable how childish they are.

definitely Lutjanus Jocu, aka dog snapper...

Bad ass!

Beautiful gun, but that is NOT a properly recessed handle... I would not want to shoot that with 6 bands... Be safe.

I got a woody!

Ask and you shall receive:
Tuna Tartar
1lb of tuna. diced in 1/4" cubes or smaller. (I've prepared it with yft, bft & bonito and it tastes equally good with all.)
1/2 - 1 avocado chopped (depending on taste)
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1/2 - 1 tbsp of sesame oil (depending on taste)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 hot chili pepper (seeded and finely chopped)
Juice of 1 lime
2 chopped scallions
1 tbsp of chives finely chopped
1 clove of garlic fine minced or pressed
You basically just combine al the above ingredients in a bowl & mix it thoroughly. Fine tune as needed.
Frying up some green plantain strips as a vessel to serve it on makes for a nice finish.
Enjoy!
