The party afterwards was pretty cool. I met a lot really cool guys, met some guys you only hear/read about.

Nobody was really promoting anything..... the live band,free beer,ribs,chicken and congri, kept everybody distracted

We tried everything, from 7-75ft. Viz was better deeper,but keeping track of four divers with the big swells and current was very challenging.

Jim,Speedy,Leo,Luis and myself got together for the tournament. Conditions were just awful. Strong 20knt winds blew 4ft chop with a strong current. Viz was a very hazy 15ft. Fish were very scarce, at the weigh-ins we didn't feel so bad as alot didn't weigh anything or just one fish. Top dogs Harolf, Tito and few others didn't fail to impress.

I hate going to the doctor's office. Waste of time and money to tell me what I already know.

Yesterday I had a lot pressure on my sinuses right above my eyes.After I would start my descent pain would start around thirty feet and get progressively more intense. When I would lay on the bottom it would go away or if I would level off for a second then continue my descent, I could keep going. I had no problem equalizing at all day. Anybody have any home remedies for sinuses? Also, I do nasal rinses a couple of times a week.

Woke up this morning to a chili 48*:@ Got dressed in jeans and lotsa layers and headed north. Met up with Gerald,Speedy and Jim and headed out of PE. The wind was only blowing 15knts but the cold stung your bones. Once in the water all was forgiven as it felt like a nice hot tub. Fish were few and far between. Depths ranged from 30-75ft mostly reefs and couple of wrecks thrown in the mix. Final body count 3 Blacks,1 Mutton, 2 Mangos and 1 bug. On a more positive note, at the dock some marine biologist(I forgot from where) was gathering info on everybodys catch. We asked about the upcoming grouper closures. She didn't really want to say much, but she finally gave in and said that everyday she gets new and different info as to what is really going to happen.

Where did you get that reel Davie?

Riffe Euro 110-120cm.

I really like the drag on the new Riffe reels. It's a ratcheting type with a lever. But it's a bit too bulky for my liking and they're really proud of it...$160:@
