haha no hank I'd like to tell you they were deeper than 100' but they weren't quite. Pretty easy to shoot honestly, you don't have to play any exhausting mind games like muttons and other snappers. Just make it down to them and be able to wait. I saw a couple BIG MOMMAS that were smarter though. Next time.

Got invited on a boat this weekend with a few other guys back in FL so I cruised over after work on Friday.
Apparently this is the weekend red snapper opens in the gulf, in state waters. I don't really know the details I was just along to shoot fish

I think I kind of got real fond of diving the gulf, had some amazing encounters. Big hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, Cobia, schools of spanish and cero macks that I wouldn't be surprised if a record was mixed in somewhere. All around just tons of life. Got all kinds of action on the go pro but I'm too lazy to edit it all in a timely fashion. I got my limit of red snapper, one of which my buddy saved by shooting a Cobia off a bull that followed me and my snapper up.

Almost lost my gun or had an extended dive with a good size king.

The guys voice reminds me of the scene where Jamie lee Curtis is getting questioned behind the mirrored glass in True Lies. Anyways that's awesome, I suppose you could cap one end of a piece of pvc and do an entire shaft if you wanted to.

Yes indeed they are those CKs. They are missing a few corners and water channels but whenever I try other people's fins I just like mine

I think so, maybe just a water snake. It was hard to tell by the shape of its head cause it was all spread open around that catfish

I have been going a bit stir crazy and worry my gills might dry up completely so a friend and I have been taking weekend camping trips to the springs just to get wet.

There's lots more video but without any fish getting shot I figured 3 minutes is more than enough. Anyways it's a great time really, it's a five hour drive for me and I never regret it. Dive all day, relax and camp out and do it again. Only downside is it goes from crystal clear and solitude in the morn to complete scuba saturation by noon and apparently kicking up sediment is part of tank diving 101. Bikini buns usually follow though so everything's relative.

Deeper cave is 62 feet to the entrance but a strong outflow makes it hard to enter, I did a few times but need a flash light. The larger horizontal cave is around 35 feet but goes in at least another 40 feet

Whatever I did I screwed up and it's 480p so best viewed on little screens
