If I had to rate them I would say a medium, I really like the footpockets.

No but they do sell a loading pad, but I think after a few times you don't need and if you do your bands might be too tight!

What is the weight of the 60 compared to the RA composite reel?

Merry Christmas to all from the far east! I got a new Triathlon bike!

I have tried the longer under armour type and while not for looks for functionality I like the speedo style in Dan's first picture much better.
-
Are the speedos expensive?
-
You don't have pictures of guns that you have already built?
-
Let me know I'll try one, I personally like a light gun with a deep open track around 57" rear handle plus with a self resetting line release and an inverted trigger.

I didn't know they made that kid of plate for them mine slides on the Beuchat handle.

Went for a short dive today with a friend, the water was a little cold 75 for my 8oz wetsuit but I toughed it out for about 2 hours. Overall had a great dive and some good table fare. The weird part was that I ran into a small Barracuda in shore dive which is not normal for here atleast. I have read all the press on eating Barracuda but decided I would give it a shot. Overall I liked the taste of the Barracuda, better than I thought.

Thanks for the reply I'll check back with you, I like the 63" Ono pick!
Thank you for all the compliments, I would love to take requests but at the time being I am not taking any orders as I leave for New Zealand next Friday. My wife and I are heading down to spend 6 months in New Zealand traveling around in a van and taking in as much of the country as we can...And YES I am taking all my gear with me... I have been talking to a lot of NZ spearos and trying to get a feel for what would be the best package. Ive decided on a 120 euro (which Ive been told will take down just about anything that would swim my way) a 100cm for the shallow water snooping, and a 9ft O'hara pole spear to test my patience.
When I get back in March, if I havn't found a nich to fill in New Zealand, I plan on revamping my shop and making it more suitable for building guns.... basically I just need more space. So if anyone is in the market for a gun at that time I would be happy to oblidge:)

Ok here is an update, 3-4 dives later liking the fins and pockets more and more!

I have used the Freedivers speargun, its simple but works. I had to take the cassette out and sand a lot of the internal plastic pieces and it was much better after that. I like how they incorporated the plasctic sleeve on top of the barrel its a very quiet gun but a little heavy.
-
I like the new Aimrite a lot, keeps the bands inline and is very simple! I have also hear great things about HH open muzzles.
-
Nice video thanks for sharing, you are deadly with that Abellan!
-
I have heard that the Orca shafts are very good.
-
I think Daryl Wong sells them for like $40, and Flfreedivers for like $35 or something. I'm like you though I do prefer RA shafts.

I'm not sure on the weave but I'll get some pictures up so you can see, they blades only weigh 240g so they are supposed be 100% carbon with no excess resin.
