Hey Rusty
I'm over in South Aus (wish i was in Perth though when i see what the Paxmans hit!)
Nice work!
-
Awesome stuff, looking forward to the new trigger coming out!
Can't wait for some reports on how it works over time. :cool2:
-
Welcome rusty, what part of Perth are you in?
-
Besides the fact that those quick release clips are flimsy as, i've had all of mine break the first or second time i used them!
Would not want to risk that happening mid dive.
Love your work though!

Nice video sir. Thanks for sharin
Speardiver Quick Slip-on Powerhead
Never leave shore without Speardiver PPDs :nono:I wish i could, Powerheads are completely banned in most parts of Australia!

Looks like it may get in the way when loading the bands, but apart from that it looks great, nice work. :cool2:

Awesome work as always Darren.
Its funny seeing them on the sand with the water i still think 'sand in the trigger mech' and then remember, its all good, its a neptonics mech! :thumbsup2:

Not the water, its the mud thats the problem!
Need to get back over to Sydney for a trip!

Thanks guys. A very warm welcome indeed.
What are you doing on the computer Jono, shouldn't you be building a deck?:hooray:
I was going to wrap a little mid handle with carbon tomorrow but a memorial comp is on so I am taking some juniors for a dive instead.
Hopefully next weekend i can wrap it and maybe a couple of week after I will have it finished.I don't have high hopes as this is the first time I am trying vacuum bagging. :krezy:
LOL
If it ever stops raining here i may be able to do some work on it!
Maybe i should just fly you over and get you to do it! :thumbsup2:

That looks fantastic, just be careful of the dust when cutting the ab shell - its worse than asbestos!
Nice work - any pics of the entire gun? :cool2:

My Father in laws omer came with a 19mm band and we both struggled to load it - changed it over to a 16 now - so much nicer to use but does have slightly less power (not really an issue though).

Very nice Dan, great looking gun at an awesome price.
You need to get someone over here to distribute your gear!

Hey Guys
There's a new update out now for the hero 3,
I loaded it up today and its finally fixed all the issues i had with it freezing up - note, the only problem i had was using it on one touch mode would always freeze it up!!
All good now :thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

Neat diagrams Pete.
The "can be eliminated" drawing doesn't say the whole truth. The roller doesn't allow the use of a 2nd band. So that shorter gun with two bands would be no less powerful than the roller.
Also the spear wouldn't be as long unless you wanted MASSIVE overhand
