The guy who runs the retail section in my store is Pilipino, he is very handy and does a lot of work for people around town.. That gun is very cool and doesn't seem that hard to replicate.

My buddy used a cressi Geronimo w 6.5 mm shafts and literally murdered the fish. Works well for one bandeven better with 2 , super fast and he was getting them for 20 bucks each. When you get your shot placement down perfectly, the fish shouldn't fight much at all. He's about 9 years younger then me and killed twice as many fish as I will in my lifetime

That gun is beautiful, and a very impressive shooter

Don't get anything smaller then a 135 and make sure that you get a few extra stainless spears. Obviously if u are adding the dry barrel kit you won't e using the crappy stock shafts so pick a few up from spearfishingworld.com the 135 gun will be perfect with what you are wanting to do with it. Good luck

300 feet, thats nothing. I've pulled them up at 1400 feet swordfishing. This was over a year ago. It's body wouldn't fit in a shoe box.

With all the eels in the keys, I always have this inherent fear that one is going to come out of the rocks and grab ahold of my balls. Lobster and grouper live in the same holes that lion fish and eels live.

I realize that my last statement means nothing without actual dead fish...so here are a few of the past couple months.
That last photo is some of the days catch that i gave to a local family who got skunked that day while fishing. This soldier had his whole family in their tiny skiff and rode out miles only to come back with a small cooler of little grunts and one tiny yellow tail. . In fact he also had an undersized grouper in his cooler that was still somewhat alive.. So I traded my legal fish for his ...not-so-legal fish. After a good stern talking to about regulations we were able to resuscitate the baby gag well enough so he could swim off on his own. family was very happy and the kids were stoked too.
Anyways back on track, MY KOAH KILLS....:thumbsup2:

Still loving my Koah. Taken some great shots with it over the past few months. Killed a lot of good fish.

Glad to see you're getting out JC. Sorry we couldn't work something out last week, but if you're down for a St Lucie trip in the near future, let me know! I'll meet you there!

That's a worm. We get them all the time here in the gulf. Just fry em'. You wont notice the difference
